The large statistics of about 1,117,959 were reported for digital TV subscribers in Hungary. This was reported at of the end of November 2009, as per the data published by the country’s National Communications Authority (NHH).
The report published just one month before, recorded a number of around 8,708. This number again underwent a change as a result of which the total analogue TV subscriptions fell by 17,719 over the same period to 1,354,063. As an effect of the overall TV subscription figure falling to 2,472,022, development was recorded by the industry sources. This was a reflection of the reflecting the crisis to the economy that had hit the nation. The consequences were depicted clearly on the TV industry as well.
Some of the other statistics given by the NHH reveals that the total number of subscriptions headed by the wired networks in the month of November ranged to around 1,728,184. A large number, precisely 374,121 of it were digital. The Wireless subscriptions on the other hand announced under its name 743,838 customers. The number is increasing at a drastic rate and so is the usage of the digital TV connections.
